Annotation: 

Indians in Pembroke Township, led by Chief Turkey Tayac from Washington, DC, met for four days at the Long House.  Tayac formed a club for them, named them Lumbees, and made membership cards allowing them to enter any White institution and be served.  Gives views of Indians opposed to the plan.
