This brief article discusses the success of Arrow Educational Products, Inc., a small, family-owned and -operated educational software company headquartered in Pembroke, N.C. The company's sales (mainly in North and South Carolina) were $300,000 in 2000, an increase of almost 100% over the previous year. The company is looking for a strategic partner to provide the equity which would allow it to expand into Texas and California, where reading instruction programs require phonics. Arrow's main products are phonics-based reading instruction software programs.
