Robeson County is working to resolve flooding issues in Red Springs. According to town manager James Bennett, "Robeson County’s share of the total $190 million in block grant money allocated to North Carolina is about $69 million. After the lion’s share of Robeson County’s funding goes to Lumberton and the county, about $10 million to $12 million will be available for other municipalities needing money for disaster recovery projects” (para. 10).
