Annotation: 

There have been 322 absentee ballot applications for the Lumbee Tribal Elections that are to be held on November 17, 2015. Positions in this election include Tribal Chairman and seven seats on the Lumbee Tribal Council. According to the Elections Board, it is expected that there will be 80 more absentee ballots requested each day until the deadline to request, which is October 30, 2015. Once an absentee ballot is acquired they must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on November 16, 2015 through the mail. According to the Board of Elections, there are 33,303 people that are eligible to vote in this Lumbee Tribal Election. There will be 29 polling sites available to vote on November 17, 2015, although the Elections Board is having trouble finding workers to operate the voting.
