See testimony by Purnell Swett, pp. 68-77. In five years, county Indian absenteeism dropped from 5.10% to 4.82%. The dropout rate decreased to 9.5%. More students were identified as gifted and talented, standardized test scores increased, and students going directly from school into the workforce decreased.
