Features Annie Brayboy, administrative director of the Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital's behavioral health clinic. The hospital serves Pima and Maricopa Indians on the Gila River Indian Community. She received a Social Worker of the Year award from the Maricopa County branch of the National Association of Social Workers. She was the first Indian to receive this award since the Arizona chapter was formed in 1976. She also received the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service Social Worker of the Year award, partly for her role in helping the area's Indian Health Service establish a Child Protection Team.
