Annotation:

After the destruction of Hurricane Matthew, many faith-based organizations representing various religions and denominations have come to Robeson County to offer help and support. Groups are gutting homes, clearing debris and more. They are doing this while spreading their faith to community members. The Minnesota-based Nechama Jewish Response to Disaster and the N.C. Baptist Men are just a few of the organizations who have shown up in Robeson County. Volunteers from Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Virginia have shown up as well, mainly setting up kitchens and serving food. The Islamic Center of Lumberton has also contributed drinking water, hot food, hygiene kits and more to the storm relief efforts. Other organizations mentioned include: Ohio-based Christian Aid Ministries, the Loaves and Fishes Food Kitchen and the Riverside Church of God.
