"Our view: Robeson storm revival will require a massive effort [opinion column]." Fayetteville Observer [Fayetteville, NC] October 18, 2016.

Annotation:

So far the process to recover in the Robeson region has gone fairly smooth. FEMA has already approved $2.5 million in aid for the area. However, there is much to go, as the Lumber River is still flooding.

At least 7,000 structures were affected. As of October 19, 2016, almost two weeks after Hurricane Matthew hit, there are some places that still remain without power. The low-lying areas, which also happen to be among the poorest in the state, had the most damage.

Even with all that help, the Fayetteville Observer said it believes that it will take more than FEMA or any one organization to get the town back on its feet.
